Hello lovelies,
Time has flown and we have been in lock down for about a month, I can’t believe it went so quickly!
In Sydney, Australia our tight safety measures are slowly easing and people are beginning to find a new normal. Fewer people are out there madly buying toilet paper so that’s a big relief as I was about to run out of some myself!
I’ve been busy participating in The 100 day project by exploring #100daysofcreativejourneys. And by golly it’s teaching me a fair amount.
It’s early days yet so I’m really excited to see what and where this journey takes me. It’s also been a really great way to focus on something other than COVID.
The May wallpaper Calendar design is back to a flower pattern, but a much more simple and larger version of what I usually create. The result of this pattern was a great surprise and It was a joy to see it come to life.
I think it’s one of my favourite patterns that I’ve made so far. I’m really enjoying the ease and use of color, as well as the space I’ve created in it.
The color for the background was very much influenced by the marine theme of patterns I had been making for instagram.
